What I did here

Provided oversight and technical guidance for a hybrid MARSSIM/Nureg -5849 final status survey of a Uranium enrichment facility. Developed radiological work packages/instructions, created an Enhanced Work Planning (EWP) process, and incorporated radiation protection requirements into work packages. Processed, reviewed and approved work packages via computerized work control processes. Performed job walk downs, pre/post job briefings, and field progress monitoring. Identified facility components to be surveyed to comply with Final survey protocols. Approved survey packages. Monitored survey processes and data processing to assure the quality and validity of data being produced. Reclassified work areas as needed based on survey data and prescribed scope and components/areas to be surveyed for increased surveillance required by guidance. Provided technical support when needed for various elements of the project. Conducted routine assessments and evaluated non-routine occurrences involving radiological problems. Functioned as the subject matter expert for various radiological engineering programs. Acted as technical expert on Final Survey implementation and end point criteria. Developed and revised technical basis documents and white papers and used those documents to develop or revise health physics procedures.
