What I did here

Provided job coverage of RHIC (Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider), AGS (Alternating Gradient Synchotron), LINAC (Linear Accelerator) and the Tandem Van de Graaff Accelerator Facilities. Authored technical documents and operations procedures in compliance with 10CFR835. Developed QC charts. Audited site procedures and source inventories. Served on PPE (personnel protective equipment) committee to standardize radiological PPE requirements lab-wide. Coordinated negotiations with outside vendors. Surveyed material for unrestricted release. Performed radiological area posting/de-posting. Performed beta, gamma, neutron and Muon radiation surveys. Performed alpha, beta, gamma, and tritium contamination surveys. Instrumentation used included Canberra inspector (HPGe), Tennelec LB5100 and HPI 1010 & 1030 (measures high energy particles and photon absorption).
