What I did here

Released materials from controlled areas. Performed radiological area posting and access control, control of radioactive material and sources, radiation and contamination surveys and area and equipment surveys. Operated/calibrated the Bicron RSO 5/50 ion chamber, Eberline model RO- 20 ion chamber, Ludlum 2929, Ludlum model 3 survey meter, Ludlum model 177, Ludlum models 12s and 19 micro R meters, Eberline RM -14, NET Delta 3 and Electra models. Completed industrial safety check list. Identified, segregated, separated, and documented low level waste. Removed/installed mobile and stationary HEPA filters. Set up, maintained and controlled the HEPA vacuum cleaners and HEPA units. Removed contaminated hoods, ducts, piping and plumbing systems, electrical service wiring and conduit and contaminated surfaces via mechanical scabbling, grit blasting, and needle gunning. Decontaminated areas, equipment, materials, and tools. Prepared radioactive shipments. Performed remediation of contaminated soil and drain lines. Installed/fabricated containments. Note: Worked for ARC 8/7/95 to 5/30/96 and Bartlett from 5/31/96 to 11/7/96.
