The Van Andel Arena may be a nice sports arena, but the acoustics for a comedy act are TERRIBLE. I will not be returning. It was so hard to understand what the comedians were saying due to the terrible echoes. The speakers are over the stage. We sat near the stage, the sound traveled past us, hit the hard outer walls, and then back to us. It was miserable. The only good part was spending time with Thomas.
