I flew from Hartford to Seattle by way of Cincinnati, headed for the DOE Seventh Annual Small Business Conference. The flight was delayed and I did not reach Seattle until the conference's last day. Kathy had planned to travel with me but was too ill to go.

In Seattle for the DOE Seventh Annual Small Business Conference (27 to 30 June 2006), which he never reached: the flight was delayed and he arrived late on the last day. Kathy was too ill to travel. He spent the trip on the Space Needle, the Experience Music Project, the Pacific Science Center, the Microsoft campus at Redmond, and a duck boat tour. Dated from Kathy's memory of the year and the published conference schedule; the photographs were lost with the RAID array.
