What I did here

Responsible for oversight and technical expertise with respect to Industrial Safety Programs. Budget Coordinator for department activities, including Safety Day, Outage Nurses, Industrial Hygiene, Eye Protection, and Safety Shoes. Represented Performance Improvement Department at the Plan of the Day meetings to facilitate Industrial Safety, Human Performance (HU), and Operating Experience (OE) discussions. Provided mentorship and oversight for the conduct of Safety Incident Reporting. Provided case management for industrial safety incidents. Conducted field observations with focus on industrial safety behaviors, use of OE and use of HuP tools. Coordinated and facilitated monthly station Safety/H U committee meetings. Maintained and coordinated activities associated with the Safety Top 10 List. Conducted monthly plant walk downs to identify potential safety issues. Conduct walk downs and tracked resolutions in response to safety Condition Reports (CRs). Provided programmatic oversight for the following programs: Department Safety Meetings, Industrial Hygiene, Hearing Conservation, Confined Space, Excavation, Fall Protection, Job Safety Hazard Analysis, Ergonomics, and Evacuation outside the protected area. Coordinated preparations and execution of ‘Site Safety/Engagement Day'. Supported conduct of Performance Improvement Program assessments. Conducted data reporting and analysis for the following: Industrial Safety Injury Precursors, recordable injury rate, safety work order backlog, and total industrial safety accident rate.
