Ready to go!!! On the shuttle from the remote parking lot to the terminal.
This dog has been all over the world. He is Lisa's constant travel companion.
O'Hare is all decorated for Christmas.
I've created a monster. "First class rocks."
Gorgeous view out of Chicago.
Two thumbs way up for the food. Chicken with rice, a roll, steamed veggies and a salad.
And warm cookies for dessert while watching Frozen. Awesome Christmas Eve!
Some day I am going to experience a turbulence-free flight into Orlando. Today is not my day and apparently neither were any of my previous 14 flights into this lovely city. Holy bouncing through the sky Batman. The upside in sitting with my white-knuckle flyer mini-me? Someone has to stay calm. We can't both grab onto the armrest for dear life and scream, "We're all gonna die." Today I must be the adult.
We are here!!!
It's no Disney Magical Express but it's a nice van. They need a Hogwart's bus.

We flew from Chicago O'Hare to Orlando, starting the trip the day before Christmas. Lisa and Thomas rode the airport train out to our gate, and once we were in the air Kathy had a dinner tray while I watched the clouds outside the window.

We landed in Orlando that evening under a big lit Christmas tree in the terminal, then rode the Universal shuttle van out to the resort. We were in the pool by nine that night, trading Chicago's cold for Florida's warmth.
