Managed a government contract including daily interaction with the government project officer. Managed staff of radiation safety technicians, administrative support staff, and laborers. Assumed the duties and responsibilities of the Site Manager in his absence. Provided radiation related services (i.e., surveys, audits, license assistance, radiation safety program development from scratch including site procedures and electronic forms (surveys, A/S, instrumentation, RWPs, dosimetry, etc)/implementation, and developed/presented training courses). Developed and managed respiratory and dosimetry program, including TLD issue and tracking. Form 4,5 issuance and retrieval, bioassay program, DAC calculations (CEDE dose assessments), and performed respirator fit tests. Performed daily health physics quality assurance activities and prepared monthly quality assurance reports. Performed Tennelec calibration, Environmental/ Radiological surveys, sample deployment, collection, and preparation for lab analysis. Performed waste management, characterization, shipping and disposal duties.
