Wonders of China and the Disney Adventure, April–May 2026

Lisa's milestone birthday journey, and the first trip to Asia. Out through Denver and San Francisco on Southwest and ANA, a pre-dawn change at Tokyo Haneda, and into Beijing on 17 April, with a free day near the hotel for a local park and the malls before meeting the group that evening.

Then eight days on National Geographic Journeys' Wonders of China with G Adventures: tai chi with a local master in the Temple of Heaven, Peking duck, Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City; a hike on the Great Wall at Jinshanling and a night at the Jinshanling Great Wall Hotel beneath it; the bullet train to Xi'an, the Muslim Quarter, the Terracotta Warriors and the city wall; the bullet train on to Shanghai, a night cruise on the Huangpu past the Bund, and a walk through the old French Concession.

Between the tour and the ship. A day at Shanghai Disneyland from the Central Hotel, then Hong Kong Airlines to Hong Kong and three nights at Disney Explorers Lodge: a full day at Hong Kong Disneyland, and Kowloon Park the next, for Lisa's milestone birthday. Singapore Airlines on to Singapore, an evening at Boat Quay and the Supertrees at Gardens by the Bay, and the Merlion the following morning on the way to board the Disney Adventure.
