Responsible for Designing, developing , and validating EP procedures to implement radiological emergency plan. Served as subject matter expert and conducted training for on-site and off-site emergency responders. Developed drill and exercise scenarios including serving as a scenario team leader, validating exercises, testing exercise performance on replica simulator and documenting exercise objectives. Evaluated emergency response organization performance in drills and exercises. Maintained on and off-site emergency response facilities and equipment. Assisted off site agencies at state and local level to develop and implement emergency plans and procedures. Developed operator aids for radiological emergency response. Conducted assessments of on and off-site radiological emergency organization performance. Performed special reviews such as off-site dose assessment. Supported special studies including evacuation travel time, population demographics and alert notification system effectiveness. Conducted tests of emergency response equipment including radios, telephones, mobile telephones, radiation monitoring equipment and alert notification equipment in accordance with department surveillance procedures.
