Provided job coverage during refueling outage. Operated and supported DAWP (dry active waste processing) facility for the radioactive material control group. Posted and de-posted areas. Performed surveys for radiation, loose, fixed and discrete hot particle contamination, particulate, iodine and gaseous airborne activity. Sorted, segregated, inspected, and prepared DAW and clean waste for off-site disposal or processing. Packaged, surveyed, shipped, and received radio -active material. Response checked, maintained and operated LCM -15 laundry contamination monitor, WST-18 plastic scintillator waste sorting table, NCC WCM waste curie monitor, AMS -3 air monitoring system, PCM -1b and PCM -2 personnel contamination monitors, FAG Kugel Fisher G/M meter, Autoness Teletector 6112b, Eberline models E -520, E -530, PIC-6b, RO -2, R0 -2A, RO -7, RM -20, ESP -1 and PNR-4, Bicron Micro REM, Ludlum model- 3A and SAC-4 alpha scintillators, BC -4 beta counter and NET CM - 7A alpha and beta scintillator.
