Today we are in Nassau. No big plans other than walking around the newly renovated port and relaxing. Tonight is Halloween on the High Seas with Mickey's Mousequerade Party and Trick-Or-Treating. With a solid 12 hours of sleep under my belt, I'm ready to take on the day with my favorite girl.

Spent a few hours out and about in Nassau. Today we are docked next to the Carnival Sunrise. If you've watched the Netflix documentary "Trainwreck: Poop Cruise," that was the Carnival Triumph before she was rebranded as the Sunrise. Our very first cruise was on her sister ship, Carnival's Destiny (now re-branded as the Sunshine).

Dinner at Animator's Palate.

Most impressive towel animal in 25 Disney cruises. Our stateroom host has been AMAZING. We left for breakfast at 7:30 and came back to a fully cleaned room at 8:15. Then this creation after dinner. He also brought us two champagne flutes, which is room service's job and knows every event going on around the ship.

Hanging out with the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus. They look a lot like Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse and Clarabelle Cow.

Halloween on the High Seas. The ship is even more magical than usual.

Lisa's haul from the ship-sponsored Trick or Treat. Multiply this by 2,000+ guests and that's a lot of candy! I did not participate. My macros are like Nancy Reagan, "Just say no" and it was way too peopley out there.

A full day on the island, Pirate Night and my favorite Broadway-caliber production, "Twice Charmed, An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story." There will be fireworks at sea and a rockin' deck party. But first, breakfast that requires zero cooking or cleaning on my part. That is the real treat for this mom on a Disney cruise.

Over the past 9 months, I've taken each family member on their own Disney cruise. Thomas got 2 mom cruises since Michael, Lisa and I also sailed from Australia to Hawaii without him in February. While I love family adventures, there is something extra special about taking each of them on their own vacation. I plan to do it for as long as they will humor me.

It's a beautiful day at Disney's Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. That's the Carnival Sunrise anchored off Princess Cays. I will take a 15-minute walk from the dock over being tendered to shore any day.

A great day was had at Disney's Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. It was windy and the waves were very choppy. We lasted about 2 hours at the beach and then spent another 2 hours exploring the island. This girl is a goer and a doer. She isn't much for staying in one spot.

At least the weather was beautiful for our two port days. The rain is falling as we make our way to Puerto Rico. It's a good day to take advantage of the ship's many indoor events and catch up on some work. I'll also be partaking in the dreaded activity, packing up to head home. Lisa and I agree. This cruise was too short!

You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here. If you know, you know.

We flew over Disney's Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, Nassau, Bimini and Princess Cays on our way to Ft. Lauderdale. I spy with my traveling eye, the longest, hottest pier in all of the lands.
