Chicago, IL

Thomas and I got into Chicago in the early afternoon and walked over to see the Bean in Millennium Park, working our way through the crowd for a look underneath it. From there we spent some time at the Art Institute of Chicago, going gallery by gallery, including a set of charcoal drawings by Francois Bonvin that Thomas stopped to read the notes on.
Thomas had his first filet mignon. He enjoyed it.

Soldier Field, Chicago

We had dinner before the show, steak with roasted potatoes, then got to Soldier Field a little before eight to see AC/DC on the PWR UP Tour. The stadium was packed by the time the lights went down. Angus Young worked the stage the whole set in his schoolboy uniform, and the show ran late into the night with the whole stadium on its feet.
AC/DC did not disappoint.
